Solar Gard Ecolux™ Low-e

Low-e in simple terms means you can keep warmer in winter and cooler in summer.

Working hard to save money and keep you comfortable year-round Imagine an indoor environment where comfort transcends no matter the time of day or season. Let’s call it your own personal comfort zone. It’s not too hot, it’s not too cold. Dare I say it is just right? Now imaging that maintaining your comfort zone requires less energy than you might normally use. To top it all off, your gift at the end of each month could very possibly be a reduced utility bill and the satisfaction of knowing that you are doing your part to reduce your carbon footprint and take a load off of the environment.

Does this all sound too good to be true? It’s not as far off as you might think.
At Solar Gard we have developed an exciting new low-e window film called Ecolux that we would like to introduce you to. Ecolux proprietary technology is complicated, but what it does is simple. Ecolux helps keep your interior climate the way you like it no matter the time of day or season. Through a simple non-intrusive process, Ecolux is adhered to the inside of your windows by an authorized Ecolux Dealer. The moment it is installed, Ecolux goes to work for you. During cooler months, Ecolux captures heat and directs it back into the room improving overall comfort, lowering energy use and helping you save money on heating bills. In warmer months, Ecolux reflects solar heat away from windows, reducing the need and cost for interior cooling. We know you work hard for your money and with Ecolux we want to help you keep it.

Oh wait! In addition to the above, Ecolux also provides all of the other benefits enjoyed by those who have discovered one of Solar Gard’s other amazing window films.

Ecolux™ benefits include:
  • Helps save money on utility bills by lowering heating and cooling costs
  • Helps you to consume less energy
  • Provides solar heat and glare protection for improved comfort
  • Protects people and property from damaging ultraviolet rays
  • Enhances the curb appeal and privacy of your home or building

Solar Gard Window Frosting

Solar Gard decorative films are designed for privacy, interior design and decorative touches enhancing the splendor of glass. These interior films are recommended for application to interior glass and to the inside surface of exterior glass. They add a designer touch on existing glass surfaces, without the expense of etching or replacing smooth glass with frosted glass.

Solar Gard decorative films are water resistant, scratch resistant, easy to maintain and simple to change for new styles and designs. They come in two types: vinyl, strictly for decorative purposes and in solar control versions that also protect the life of furnishings and fabrics by screening up to 99% of the sun’s damaging ultraviolet rays. No matter which ones you choose, Solar Gard decorative films will bring out the designer in you.

Interior solar control decorative films have a 6 mil (150 micron) gauge and come in black opaque, white opaque and clear frost. These Solar Gard films reject up to 77% of the total solar energy – providing you greater temperature stability and comfort while reducing solar heat gain and bothersome glare. For high security installations, black opaque and white opaque prevent interior viewing and provide complete privacy.

Solar Gard Anti Graffiti Film*

Protects Public and Private Property From Vandalism Solar Gard’s Graffitigard protective film is a durable, optically clear and removable product that acts as a sacrificial barrier between vandals and the surfaces they cover, including interior and exterior glass windows and mirrors, as well as other non-porous surfaces like stainless steel and marble. The unnoticeable film protects surfaces from paint, key scratches, marking and even acid-etching. When vandalised, the film is easily removed and replaced for clean-up – reducing property damage and maintaining aesthetics.

From shopfronts to overpasses, Graffitigard is increasingly popular because it is far less expensive to replace and install a fresh layer than to replace what it protects. Protect your public surfaces from deliberate and unintentional damage with Solar Gard graffiti protective films!
